There is something for almost every level, from short, accessible waterfalls where beginners can learn the basics, through to serious multi-pitch ice, mixed climbing and alpine winter routes. The area is also known for a relatively stable inland winter climate, with the main ice-climbing season generally running from around November into April, depending on conditions.
